Whenever I get a chance, I spend time designing and sewing my own clothes. Everything I make has an emphasis on function: real pockets everywhere, fabrics that won’t fade or degrade, and can be thrown into a regular wash cycle (who has time for hand washing?!). I recently upgraded from my grandmother’s 1960s sewing machine to a Husqvarna Viking Designer SE which is controlled by a giant touch screen and can be plugged into my computer, which lets me bring tech into my hobby too! When I’m patient enough, I 3D print components like buttons.
